GITHMAP (Githyanki Stronghold)

Inspired by the beggining of "The Lich-Queens Beloved" adventure and using Baldur's Gate 3 as base.

STORY

"Val'ty (Jez'rathki) was investigating the source of the earthquakes threatening her homeland, the city of Tu'narath in the astral plane. 

Following a clue, the Vlaakith's devotee got her hands on a heretical Githyanki disc revealing that Susurrus (Her Queen's palace) is the culprit for the series of tragedies on her land.

However, reporting the findings to his superiors led to the end of the research, the destruction of the disk, and an unfortunate visit from the Queen's inquisitors.

Soon, evidence of Jez'rathki's treason surfaced.

Now, rescued from near death and brought back by rebels, Jez'rathki wakes up in a strange stronghold, but one thing is certain, she still knows the disk's truth, but not sure of what to do with the dangerous information."

HOW IT STARTED?

I started this project to learn Doom mapping/modding while making my Jez'rathki fan fiction (My Dungeons and Dragons character) (yep, this is my first Doom map). 

Initially, I was doing it for myself only, as a Githyanki-only player (very unsatisfied with the lack of Githyanki as playable characters in videogames). Then, after discovering other fans of these cool-murderous aliens, we started including our OCs together on the map, each one telling their own stories.

WHAT I MEAN BY OC:

OC means Original Character. They were created by DnD and Baldurs Gate 3 players and submitted to me to appear as special guests. All OC characters are credited and used with permission, All of their dialogue is written by their creators. 

HOW TO PLAY

Runs PLAY.bat. This project is a standalone experience made in the Doom engine and don't require owning Doom.
